AP-SVPP (Satellite Video Provision Platform) Solution
AddPac Satellite Video Solution has two main features of satellite based video surveillance and video conferencing. Satellite network based video surveillance solution is consisted with Network DVR server (AP-NR2000), Embedded real-time multi-channel video decoder (AP-NS1000) and Network camera in remote (AP-VR2000, AP-VR1000). Video conferencing solution on satellite network is made up of hardware-type video MCU (AP-MC1000), video gateway (AP-VG1000) for video telephony with big screen TV like PDP, LCD TV and CCD camera and 7 inch LCD built-in video phone (AP-VP300).
High-performance Embedded Network DVR System
AddPac¡¯s Satellite Video surveillance solution is consisted with DVR server, real-time multi-channel video decoder(to support Big screen TV) and PC based DVR Client on center or HQ(Head Quarter) and Network camera located on Satellite Mobile Station like vessel, warship. Embedded DVR server is designed on HDD array supporting RAID1 configuration with high-performance RISC microprocessor, saves MPEG-4 video data transmitted from network camera in remote and deliver video streaming to DVR Client. Video decoding and Display on local are processed on dedicated video decoder for multi-channel processing and high-resolution display. Dedicated multi-channel decoder can mount up to four(4) video modules and a video decoding module can connect two(2) or four(4) TV using S-video interface. This system provides up to sixteen(16) separated QCIF display or four(4) separated CIF display per TV.
Hardware-type high-performance Embedded MCU System
AP-MC1000 Satellite video conferencing MCU system consists of two(2) fast Ethernet interface, RS-232C console for device management and two(2) optional hardware module slot interface. AP-MC1000 module slot interface can mount hardware MCU modules (HIM-MCU4) and various network interface (V.35, ATM, POS) modules. Hardware MCU module is a multi-point audio/video mixer which has parallel processing of cutting-edge DSP chips for real-time processing, and features centralized systemic 1:N Multipoint video conferencing. Not to mention of support of Audio/video signal, it supports a wide variety of voice codecs such as G.726, G.711. MCU processing is extended in block of 4-channel and has Cascade control for multi-party video conference more than basic 4-channel video conference.
Firmware Upgradeable Architecture
The satellite video solution consisted of AP-NR2000 embedded network DVR, AP-NS1000 DVR displayer, AP-VR2000, AP-MC1000 video MCU, AP-VG1000 video gateway and AP-VP300 is designed on programmable high-performance RISC CPU and DSP, so that AddPac¡¯s products are capable of adopting new capabilities and improvement by downloading firmware from website or with its auto-upgrade option on customers' needs. Furthermore latest video codec of H.264 is feasible at DSP firmware level, so that User can get updated codec service as well as current MPEG-4, H.263 by software upgrade.

AP-NR2000 embedded network DVR server is designed on
high-performance RISC microprocessor and Hard Disk Array with RAID1
configuration. This DVR server saves MPEG-4 video streaming data received
from network camera in remote and delivers video streaming data to DVR
client.

It is real-time multi-channel video decoding and display
equipment. It can mount four(4) video module and video decoding module can
connect to two(2) or four(4) TV. This system provides up to sixteen(16) QCIF
separated display per TV.

This equipment is installed on satellite Mobile Station
and used for video surveillance and broadcasting. Having various WAN
interface module and two(2) multi-service module slot to mount display
module, transmit and processing delays are minimized thanks to the
integrated equipment of WAN interface and video codec. For network video
surveillance application, AP-VR2000 is operated as video encoding mode and
transmits the encoded video bit stream to central network DVR server. For
video broadcasting application, as video decoding mode, AP-VR2000 decode the
video bit stream from broadcasting server at central site and display the
video via external monitor like TV.
