HIM-MCU4 is a high performance 4 channel video/audio mixing module which is mountable on AP-MC1000, AP-MC5000 MCU equipments. With programmable DSP based codec, It is capable of adopting new capabilities and improvement according to user applications by downloading various audio/video codec firmware from host CPU, supporting the latest video codecs such as H. 263, MPEG-4, H.264*.

One of its greatest features is to optimally support mixing and transcoding to provide high level video quality as it is equipped directly into the module slot of AP-MC1000, AP-MC5000, Moreover, HIM-MCU4 adopts Hot-Swap mode enabling module replacement during the system operation and multiple HIM-MCU4s can be operated in one system, equipped into extra slots of AP-MC1000(2 module slots), AP-MC5000(4 module slots).

Combined with terminal equipments such as AP-VG1000 video gateway and AP-VP300 video phone, HIM-MCU4 delivers high quality video conference solution supporting max 30 frames of VGA(640×480) images based on MPEG-4.
