1.2U Size Media Gateway with 240 Channel (8 E1) VoIP Call Processing Capability
AP-MG3800, which has a size of 1.2U, and can be mounted on a standard 19-inch rack, supports high quality VoIP calls of 240 channels. This product ensures high quality VoIP call due to the standard QoS and AddPac Proprietary QoS algorithm of AddPac in any IP network environments. Up to two VoIP I/O modules that process VoIP calls of 120 channels (4E1 = 4x30) per slot can be installed into AP-MG3800. An advanced embedded CPU is installed into the 4-port E1/T1 VoIP I/O module separately from the system board, and the module can individually perform DSP handling as well as RTP, R2, ISDN-PRI, and SS7* processing. You can directly access the network through the Ethernet port installed into the VoIP I/O board module not through the system board to transfer or receive the VoIP RTP data.
Triple concurrent VoIP signaling Stack
The performance and reliability of AddPac VoIP gateway series have been recognized in global markets. AP-MG3800, which is a collection of experiences and know-how accumulated in the enterprise and service provider markets, would meet the needs of customers who want multiple VoIP services of high quality. In particular, AP-MG3800 Media Gateway supports VoIP call control protocols such as H323, SIP, and MGCP simultaneously on one embedded OS.
High Reliability
AP-MG3800 is medium-scale VoIP media gateway that can process VoIP calls of 240 channels simultaneously. The durability and reliability of a product are the most important requirements since many users use the system simultaneously. Since the slots of the 4E1 VoIP I/O module support compact PCI hot swap, a board can be mounted or dismounted on or from the module in operation. This feature enables reliable services without shutting down the system when the module has a failure or is expanded.
