AP-AV500 is high performance audio & video IP codec(encoding/decoding) module mountable on IP broadcasting equipment such as AP1601, AP2620 and AP2850, etc. AP-AV500 supports the various video codecs such as H.263, MPEG-4 and H.264* using high performance programmable DSP. The module minimizes processing delay enabling real-time IP video broadcasting.

AP-AV500 supports H.263, MPEG-4 and H.264*, etc and newly developed video/audio codec firmwares are upgradeable from host CPU. It concurrently provides both the processing capability of VGA-level(30 frame/sec, 640×480, MPEG-4) video and the audio services such as G.711, etc with 3.5mm stereo audio interfaces. In addition, thanks to its PSB interface, the electric power on/off of the amplifier can be controlled at a terminal site.
