MBMS (Multimedia Broadcasting Management System) is broadcasting management system for HD broadcasting server, HD broadcasting router, HD broadcasting terminal devices in next generation IP based HD broadcasting solution.
AP-VBS5000 HD video broadcasting server is embedded with single source dual codec to use AP-VBT1000 HD broadcasting terminal and existing MPEG-4 based broadcasting terminal such as video phone. AddPac IP HD video broadcasting server is capable of encoding/transmitting HD high quality videos in real time by combining with high performance DSP hardware and processor. AP-VBT1000 HD is IP based HD video broadcasting terminal which supports the next generation video codec H.264. It is made up of 1 port 10/100Mbps fast Ethernet interface, remote function, broadcasting On-Air lamp, remote TV control function, HDD broadcasting recording (Option), and various video/audio output interfaces. It is applicable to various IP based real time HD broadcasting applications such as council broadcasting, preach broadcasting and remote lecture.
AP-BCR2000 HD broadcasting router is IP based HD video broadcasting router device which runs along with AP-VBS5000 HD video broadcasting server to support compressed IP video bit stream in form of 1:N for broadcasting or multicasting broadcast. The front console supports including; 2 ports 10/100/1000Mbps Giga byte interface, RS-232C console face which provides CLI (Command Line Interface) function, and LED display for utilization in real time.
MBMS is designed as server/client structure in MS Window based PC platform environment. It is software which provides user registration, access restriction, AddPac HD broadcasting device management, broadcasting source, group, bookmark management, reserved broadcasting, real time broadcasting, remote broadcasting management, broadcasting equipments inspection, and event history check.
User Registration and Access Limit Management Function (User Management)
MBMS HD broadcasting management system allows only the registered administrator is able to login to HD broadcasting device. User registration information allows registering user name, user ID, and user password.
HD Broadcasting Management Function (Device Management)
AddPac Technology’s next generation IP based HD broadcasting solution is composed of HD broadcasting server, HD broadcasting router, and HD broadcasting terminal. A broadcasting device management function is to setup each device name, device explanation, device model, and remote broadcasting restriction function.
HD Broadcasting Source and Broadcasting Group Management
It is software module to perform broadcasting source and broadcasting management function. Broadcasting group management is used to perform broadcasting for each group. It has broadcasting group name registration, broadcasting group name explanation, and device (HD broadcasting terminal) registration function for each broadcasting group. AddPac HD broadcasting server is made up of dual channel HD-SDI, component, composite, s-video, and RGB interface. Broadcasting source management is possible through broadcasting channel and media interface selection.
Reserved Broadcasting and Time Signal Broadcasting
It is software module to setup broadcasting source selection, broadcasting schedule name registration, broadcasting schedule name explanation, broadcasting date, broadcasting time (setup start and end time) and broadcasting file.
TTS (Text to Speech) Broadcasting (Option)
It has TTS file list management function, TTS file selection function to perform TTS based voice broadcasting. TTS engine runs along with it so that text information converts to voice analog signal and saved into broadcasting server.
Broadcasting Device Inspection Function
It is software function block to check the HD broadcasting device status. It supports to display the device failure status on screen by using internal protocol for product defect.
Event History Search Function
MBMS supports broadcasting event history management. It supports Log/Event/History function for debugging when error occurs by using broadcasting event search function. It is efficient for HD broadcasting solution operation as well as help real time technical support.
