AP-KMS key management system is a security key insertion exclusive system for AddPac's secure VoIP Gateway series; AP2120S, AP2520S, AP500S. Designed as an embedded system, it supplies security keys to secure VoIP Gateway series via RS-232C or Ethernet port.

Realizing VoIP Security without Voice Quality Degradation
VoIP telephony service is rapidly replacing existing PSTN telephone service. However, VoIP telephony is not 100% tapping-free service, but requiring additional security means against VoIP codec decoding tools such as VoIP DNA. To meet this demand, AddPac introduced secure VoIP Gateway series of AP2120S, AP2520S, AP500S realizing advanced security function with superior VoIP quality. AP-KMS is a security key management system for these Gateway models. That is, its key port inserts security key to secure VoIP Gateway via RS-232C directly or via LAN.

Embedded Security Exclusive System Structure
AP-KMS is a standalone, embedded system offering efficient security key management feature with 2×20 LCD for operation monitoring, 4×4 key pad for security key configuration and key lamp for key insertion monitoring.
Also, by safekeeping AP-KMS device, the access to the security key information can be limited only to the security managers operating AP-KMS preventing possible internal security incidents.
