Smart DVR Manager is the software that operates on the next-generation network DVR solution of AddPac and that allows you to perform network DVR management. Smart DVR Manager operates in a client/server architecture. Smart DVR Manager Client operates on the PC platform of Microsoft Windows, and Smart DVR Manager Server operates on AddPac Embedded Network DVR Server or another commercial server such as Linux Server.
User and Group Management
Smart DVR Manager Client allows you to manage users and groups by login ID. You can register the client software in either manager mode or user mode. Depending on your privileges, you can disable several Smart DVR Viewer users to control the shared resources (e.g. Pan/Tilt/Zoom, mirroring, and brightness) of a network camera.
Network DVR Server and Manager Server Management
Smart DVR Manager Client allows you to display the CPU and memory usage of Network DVR Server in the form of a graph in real-time. Smart DVR Manager Client also displays detailed information on the daily DVR data saved in each network camera registered in the DVR server as well as the start time of saving a DVR file, saved time, and size of the saved file.
Smart DVR Manager Server allows you to set its IP address and management port and the number of Smart DVR Manager Clients and Smart DVR Viewers to be accessed. Also, this product supports the feature that allows you to display the IP address of Smart DVR Viewer and Smart DVR Manager Client sessions that operate on Network DVR.
Network Camera Management
Smart DVR Manager Client allows you to register network cameras by group and to set the model name, IP address, and video encoding parameter (e.g. resolution such as VGA and QVGA, frame rate, and transmission bandwidth) on live video and recorded video of a network camera.
Live Displayer Setting and Management
Smart DVR Manager allows you to set up and manage a DSP-based real-time DVR displayer separately from Windows-based Smart DVR Viewer. Either AP-AV1000 or AP-AV1000C, which is a high-end DSP-based video signal processing card, provides component interfaces for HDTV, and is installed into AP-NS1000, AP-VR1000, and AP-VR2000 to enable real-time live display. Control of real-time live displayer enables Pan/Tilt/Zoom, window layout, window display mode control, and the settings of an IP address and a video output interface type.
Session Management
Smart DVR Manager allows you to display detailed information on live DVR display, archive DVR display, and the IP address, saved time, video resolution, and frame rate of the DVR recording session.
