AP-VR2000 Video Service Router is a next-generation video codec equipment successfully integrating DSP based high-end video codec and ATM/Leased line router service. It delivers optimized video and network service with minimized processing and transmission delay. It is equipped with two(2)-port 10/100Mbps Ethernet interface and two(2) multimedia slots for video codec module and network modules providing complete functionality and flexibility as high-quality network camera, CCTV and real-time video conferencing solutions.
AP-VR2000 is a modular architecture equipment providing superior routing service and hardware video codec at single integrated platform. Typical network video solution formed with separate video codec and WAN router often faces transmission and processing delay. AddPac AP-VR2000 is cutting-edge video service router embracing high-end DSP based hardware codec at module level realizing unprecedented quality of video communication.
Experience the Competitive Advantage of Video and Network Service
AP-VR2000 delivers intelligent service with its support of two(2)-port 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet interface, one(1)-port RS232 Console and two(2) multiservice slots for WAN and video codec modules. Not only IGMP multicast protocol and QoS(Quality of Service) fine tuned for Video over IP, it also offers a wide array of routing services such as VRRP(Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) for fault tolerant and load balancing
Embracing New Technology; Firmware Upgradeable DSP based HW Codec
AP-VR2000 codec module supports audio and video encoding based on H.263, MPEG-4, and cutting-edge video codec, H.264. Designed on programmable high-performance DSP, AP-VR2000 is capable of adopting new capabilities and advanced features by downloading new firmware from AddPac Homepage or with its auto-upgrade option as the customers' needs grow.
Experience Significant Video Streaming Efficiency
In case of MPEG-4, AP-VR2000 supports max. 30 frames of VGA(640¡¿480) images and it is capable of control frame rate and bit rate according to the network condition. Also, remote control of PAN/TILT/Zoom cameras are possible via RS232C or RS422 control ports of the codec module.
Enhanced Remote Management Capabilities
AP-VR2000 provides effective remote system monitoring, configuration and software upgrade via Telnet or TFP. Additional GUI based management system for multi-number of AP-VR2000 is also provided. It realizes comprehensive monitoring of AP-VR2000 based on web interface which includes audio broadcasting service to desired end-points.
Meet the New Demands
AP-VR2000 minimizes transmission and processing delay through a unique combination of networking and video codec on one hardware platform. Especially, high-end DSP based H.263, MPEG-4 and H.264 codec make AP-VR2000 extremely easier to accommodate new services such as high-quality network camera, CCTV and On-Demand video.
