AP-SDS2000 HD Streaming Server

AP-SDS2000 is embedded based HD video streaming server. It is a RTSP protocol based which is located between video encoder and video decoder to distribute the HD video bit stream. It supports 6Mbps HD video stream. (Up to 32 channel, output 64 channel) AP-SDS2000 is designed on the basis of Master-Slave for optimizing Large Scale Network DVR. It is applicable to various video applications such as video surveillance, traffic control, environment surveillance and disaster surveillance.

The popularity of IP based network DVR has been increasing as much as high interest in IP network based high performance video communication. AP-SDS2000 HD streaming server is applicable to video surveillance, traffic control, environment surveillance, and disaster surveillance by combining with HD video codec, HD storage device, HD display device, HD subtitle generator and HD video splitter. High Performance Large Capacity HD Streaming Server

AP-SDS2000 HD streaming server performs routing capability (encoding bit stream to N:M) based on RTSP in network DVR system structure. AP-SDS2000 HD streaming server provides the 8Mbps HD video encoding bit stream. (Input channel 32 channels, output channel 64 channels) D1 may be slightly different depending on the video transmit bandwidth (H.264 1Mbps~2Mbps) and support up to twice as much as distributing server capacity. (N:M=64:128)

HD Streaming Server for RTSP Server-Client Concept

AP-SDS2000 HD streaming server is designed to perform RTSP client function in input which receives the video bit stream from HD video encoder (RTSP Server). It performs the RTSP server function in output and designed to transmit the video bit stream to video decoder (RTSP Client) through On-Demand. Transport layer protocol uses TCP protocol as mandatory for the safe packet transmission in input. To cope with various application services in output, it supports the TCP or UDP protocol concurrently as an option.

RTSP Client Accessibility

AP-SDS2000 HD streaming server is applicable to various application services based on RTSP. HD streaming server’s output part is embedded with RTSP server in order to connect with various RTSP client terminals. Hardware based HD video decoder, DVR storage server, media player (VLC, GOM Player, AddPac Smart DVR Viewer) can be RTSP clients. It can also perform video streaming transmission service as On-Demand form.

Scalability for Large Scale NDVR Network

AP-SDS2000 HD streaming sever is designed on N:M input/output structure based on RTSP standard protocol for better scalability. It is optimized for the Large Scale NDVR (Network DVR) design. AS-SDS2000 HD streaming server can be interworked with parallel, cascade structure and may apply to various topologies. It is capable of managing several slave distributing servers under one master server as well as to manage each distributing server independently.
