AP-SDS5000 HD streaming server provides distributing service such as D1, HD, and Full HD video bit stream. At least two high performance embedded CPU board system must be installed. If two boards are installed, it supports 8Mbps HD video encoding bit stream with 32 input channels/64 output channels. D1 may be slightly different depending on the video transmit bandwidth (H.264 1Mbps~2Mbps) and support up to twice as much as distributing server capacity. (N:M=64:128). AP-SDS5000 HD streaming server is designed to perform RTSP client function in input which receives the video bit stream from HD video encoder (RTSP Server). It performs the RTSP server function in output and designed to transmit the video bit stream to video decoder (RTSP Client) through On-Demand. Transport layer protocol uses TCP protocol as mandatory for the safe packet transmission in input. To cope with various application services in output, it supports the TCP or UDP protocol concurrently as an option.

HD streaming server’s output part is embedded with RTSP server in order to connect with various RTSP client terminals.
