As high-speed Internet networks have evolved into Broadband convergence Network (BcN), application services based on a variety of multimedia such as video multimedia services based on IP version 4/6 in addition to conventional IP telephony services based on voice are increasingly getting popular in line with the explosive growth of Voice over IP (VoIP) services. If you continue to use a PSTN-based telecommunication system due to network bandwidth, pay attention to multimedia communication services from now on. AddPac, the leader of integrated multimedia and data communication, presents a new vision of integrated voice and video data.
AddPac multimedia solution based on IPv4/v6 multimedia Telephony Provision Platform (ITPP) IP version 4/6 is a next-generation multimedia telephony solution configured with the embedded hardware-type IP-PBX, VoIP gateway (analog, digital E1/T1), media gateway (digital E1/T1), video MCU device, traffic controller, high quality IP video phone, and IP phone.
AddPac AP-ITPP is an IP-based multimedia telephony solution for local governments, enterprises, and ISP. AP-ITPP has the address system of IP version 4 by default; however it can also operate based on All IP version 6. This solution is provided along with video terminals that provide video services based on IP version 4/6 to ensure high quality multimedia telephony services. AP-ITPP is configured with various terminals of AddPac such as IPNext 200, 500, 1000 IP-PBX, the AP2650 VoIP gateway, AP-MG5000 media gateway, AP-MC1000 audio/video MCU, AP-TC1000 traffic controller, AP-VP300, AP-VP200, and AP-IP200, which are IP phones.
Real-Time IP-Based Multimedia Video Telephony Services
AddPac presents an advanced hardware-type next-generation video terminal solution to a site that needs IP-based real-time video telephony services of high quality. IPNext500 IP-PBX and AP-VP300, which are the basic components and video terminals, are configured with a DSP-based hardware codec and an embedded system based on high-performance RISC CPU to transmit and play back a high quality video in real-time. The reliability and high quality of a video compressed to MPEG4, H.263, or H.264 are ensured even on an integrated data network by using the state-of-the-art QoS algorithm and error recovery technology of AddPac. AP-VP300 processes VGA (640¡¿480)-level video based on MPEG-4, which is a compression codec, by 30 frames per second to implement TV-level video in an IP network environment. In particular, AP-VP300 allows you to set a frame rate and an appropriate bit rate depending on network status; thus, AP-VP300 accommodates various environments from a low bandwidth to broadband networks.
Hardware-Type High Quality Embedded Multimedia MCU System
The AP-MC1000 MCU system of AddPac AP-ITPP is configured with two Fast Ethernet interfaces, the RS-232C console for equipment management, and two hardware module slot interfaces for optional cards. The module slot interface of AP-MC1000 can be equipped with hardware-based video MCU modules and various network interface (e.g. V.35, ATM, and POS) modules. The hardware MCU module is a multipoint video mixing device in an advanced DSP chip architecture for real-time processing, and enables multipoint conferences in a centralized processing method. AP-ITPP inter-works with IPNext Call Manager and IP-based video terminals to enable high quality audio/video MCUs.
Firmware Upgrade Enabled
The IP telephony devices of AddPac used for AP-ITPP IP version 4/6 are programmable and can be upgraded due to continuous software development and feature addition to meet various customer needs and environment requirements.
Various Network Features and Advanced QoS
AP-ITPP supports the latest features and advanced service features ranging from the ones (e.g. a variety of network protocols, better Quality of Service (QoS), and the error concealment technology) specialized for an environment for IP multimedia conference calls to the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) service for preventing a failure and load balancing. Accordingly, AP-ITPP can address various issues that may occur depending on network environments.
