APOS-NX New Product Release Note
- With one VoIP gateway, users can subscribe different types of VoIP service
- Voice quality and protocol will be the main factors selecting VoIP gateways
AddPac Technology introduces VoIP gateway Operation System, APOS-NX, supporting H.323, SIP, and MGCP protocols simultaneously.
APOS-NX is a powerful solution supporting multi stack mode operation of H.323, SIP and MGCP. Even if several VoIP signaling protocols are supported as a single stack mode by other vender, the single stack mode only supports one protocol at a time, and to replace the protocols, the existing one should be unloaded.
However, with APOS-NX, one VoIP gateway can support three different signaling protocols at the same time. So with one VoIP gateway, the users can subscribe various VoIP telephony services.
AddPac¡¯s VoIP gateway supporting multi VoIP signaling protocols select necessary signaling protocol according to the VoIP service provider¡¯s system request. The VoIP gateways with APOS-NX logically divide each telephone port and can assign different protocols. So each telephone port works as a separate VoIP gateway supporting specific VoIP signaling protocol.
APOS-NX¡¯s H.323, SIP and MGCP multi-stack makes the users to be easily adapted to the rapidly changing VoIP communication environment even with limited VoIP gateway resource such as memory, CPU processing power and etc.
