AddPac Technology penetrates the medium-sized VoIP media gateway market. AddPac has released a media gateway, VoiceFinder AP-MG3800 that connects Next Generation Network (NGN) and wire/wireless telephone networks to an IP network based on the technologies and experiences of VoIP gateways for subscribers. Accordingly, AddPac has become to have full lineup of medium-sized media gateways in addition to the released AP-MG3000 (120 channels) and AP-MG5000 (240 channels).
AP-MG3800 Media Gateway, which is intended for ITSP and the large enterprise markets, has a compact size, and supports VoIP calls of up to 240 channels. AP-MG3800 supports hot swap, and a 4E1 VoIP board can be mounted or dismounted on or from AP-MG3800 in operation. In addition, AP-MG3800, which is a VoIP call control protocol, supports H323, SIP, and MGCP simultaneously in the same operating system to adapt to a change in the service environment flexibly. AP-MG3800 also supports the Pv4/IPv6 dual address system, and has better fault tolerance under VRRP.
