AddPac Technology introduces a high performance video service router, AP-VR1000 targeting at real time video and network DVR markets. As a modular type Video over IP video codec system, AP-VR1000 is operated in various WAN environments such as xDSL, cable TV network and leased line etc.
The AP-VR1000 is not only support a one to one video communication between AP-VR1000s but also it interoperates with various video solutions from AddPac Technology such as AP5850, AP-VP300, AP-VG1000 and video gateway AP-VR2000 etc. This enables the AP-VR1000 to conduct solution based video applications.
The AP-VR1000 is a high-performance RISC CPU based embedded video system providing 2 port 10/100Mbps Ethernet, IrDA wireless remote control sensor and 1 port multi-service module slot. The AP-VR1000 codec module supports audio and video encoding/decoding based on H.263, MGCP-4 and cutting-edge video codec, H.264. Designed on programmable high-performance DSP, The AP-VR1000 is capable of adopting new capabilities and advanced features by downloading new firmware from the AddPac webpage or with its auto upgrade option.
The AP-VR1000 supports maximum 30 fps VGA (640×480) based on the MPEG-4 and it is capable of controlling frame rate and bit rate according to the network availability. Also remote controlling of PAN/TILT/Zoom is possible via RS232C and RS422 control port of the codec module.
The AP-VR1000 can be used for high quality video monitoring, network camera, CCTV, video conferencing solutions and On-Demand video services etc. In addition, using the AP-VR1000 as a video broadcasting terminal enables it to send video signals to desired end-points through the AP5850.
