AddPac Technology introduces PassFinder AP5850 Multi-service Router targeting at broadband network environment. PassFinder AP5850 supports various multi-service modules such as broadband network access, real-time video broadcasting, 4-E1 VoIP Media Gateway, Hardware VPN accelerator and gigabit Ethernet module etc.
AP5850 offers superior performance with cutting edge specifications such as five multi-service module slot, IPv6 Ready, dual power units etc. It is equipped with five optional multi-service module slots, dual power unit with built-in 4-port 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Interface.
Below are multi-service modules which can placed in multi-service network slots ;

These various modules enabling service consistency by replacing modules during the system operation using Hot swap function. Built in 4-port 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Interface offers an optimized performance for interoperation between local networks and AP5850.
Apart from built in Ethernet interfaces, 6-port Fast Ethernet switch module enables flexibility when configuring many switching groups. Moreover, 2-port gigabit Ethernet module is based for uplink or interoperation with core switch.
AP5850, by providing same user environment as PassFinder Router series, allows easy installation and maintenance for current PassFinder Router users and even for the first time user. AP5850 is an economical and effective total solution delivering various services from Routing functions such as Static, RIP v1/v2, OSPF v2, BGP v4 to VRRP service for preventing system failure and load balancing. Using modules such as ATM, POS (Packet over Sonet), HSSI(High Speed Serial Interface), Serial and Video, PassFinder AP5850 multi-Service Router offers various WAN connectivity which combining ATM and leased line for large enterprises with small local branch offices and public offices. And also AP5850 enables to realize VPN, IP Video and VoIP media gateway functions.
