AddPac Technology, a leading network equipment company, takes one step forward with the introduction of AP-PSU48, a DC power supply unit targeting PoE supporting Switch Series.
Various network appliances such as IP phones, Wireless LAN AP (Access Points) and Network cameras are now rapidly emerging to the enterprise networks. In stead of requiring wall power, these new appliances can utilize the power provided from the In-line power system over standard Category 5 UTP cables. AP-PSU48 is optional entity supplying in-line power to the Layer2 Ethernet switch. It offers maximum 500W DC power, along with load sharing and hot-swapping features for reliable In-line IP appliance environment. The new power supply is equipped with dual DC power module slots realizing power redundancy.
