AP-SDRS10000 HD recording server supports to store/play the video encoding bit stream in hard disk based on RTSP in network DVR system structure. AP-SDRS10000 HD recording server supports both 8Mbps HD video bit stream input channel (32 channels) and 1Mbps D1 video bit stream (128 channels). It is designed to support both all-in-one type (recording server + streaming server) and separated type (recording server, streaming sever each) on the basis of the Linux commercial server platform.

RTSP Server Client HD Recording Server
AP-SDRS10000 HD recording server performs RTSP Client function in input which receives the video bit stream. Compressed video information from the video encoder device or streaming server will be saved in hard disk. To play saved video bit stream, output performs the RTSP Server function to transmit the video data to video decoder (RTSP Client) through On-Demand. For the stable packet transmission, transport layer protocol uses TCP protocol as a mandatory. To cope with the various application services such as video decoder in RTSP server output, it is designed to support both TCP and UDP protocol concurrently as an option.
RTSP Client Accessibility
AP-SDRS10000 HD recording server supports standard protocol to play the saved video information and live video based on RTSP. A recording server output is embedded with RTSP server in order to connect with various RTSP client terminals. Hardware based HD video decoder and media player (AddPac Smart DVR Viewer, VLC, GOM Player, etc) can be RTSP clients. It can also perform video streaming service in the form of On-Demand.
