Overview |
AP-BCR2000 HD broadcasting router is a IP based video broadcasting router which is operated along with AP-VBS5000 HD video broadcasting server to broadcast the compressed IP video bit stream in form of 1:N for broadcasting or multicasting broadcast. AddPac HD broadcasting solution provides single source dual encoding video broadcasting in form of multicasting or broadcasting to MPEG4 based VGA broadcasting terminal (video phone, video broadcasting terminal). At the front, it supports LED to display 2 port 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet interface, RS-232 console interface for CLI (Command Line Interface), CPU and network utilization in real time. It is applicable to various IP based real time HD broadcasting fields along with HD broadcasting server and HD broadcasting terminal such as assembly broadcasting, preach broadcasting and remote lecture.
The popularity of video over IP device has been increasing as much as IP network based HD high performance broadcasting. IP based HD broadcasting is hard to approach in spite of the high performance of hardware device due to the bandwidth, network infrastructure and high cost of introduction. AddPac now opens a whole new world of IP based HD video broadcasting in low bandwidth environment at a reasonable price. IP based AddPac HD broadcasting solution offers H.264 codec. It is applicable to assembly broadcasting, announcement with various WAN environments such as fast internet, leased line and metro Ethernet. AP-BCR2000 broadcasting router is an important component of efficient HD broadcasting network configuration along with AP-VBS5000 HD broadcasting server (H.264, MPEG-4 media encoder), AP-VBT1000 HD broadcasting terminal, and broadcasting management system.
Real Time HD Video/Audio Broadcasting
This device can be used as HD real time video broadcasting service router using RTP protocol in finance, local government, and enterprise. High quality real time broadcasting is possible using existing network. AP-VBS5000 HD video broadcasting server in headquarter + AP-BCR2000 broadcasting router will transmit the video/voice signal to the several branches.
HD Broadcasting, Multicasting, Relay
AP-BCR2000 HD broadcasting router supports an efficient HD broadcasting network configuration in IP based enterprise HD broadcasting solution. Transmitting bandwidth in IP based HD broadcasting environment (1280X720) requires 1Mbps~4Mbps of bandwidth even when it is embedded with H.264 video codec. If required bandwidth transmission is Unicast Network, broadcasting process requires a large number of transmission bandwidth and process performances. In case of Multicast Network, broadcast transmitting can be processed in network so that bandwidth traffic can be reduced significantly using IGMP protocol.
Supporting IGMP multicasting transmit network in enterprise network is rare; IP broadcasting network is configured using Unicast network. In case of Unicast network, planning/configuring of billing may be difficult in network infrastructure when having hundreds of Mbps or Gigabps except network configuration star structure between headquarter and branches is Unicast network. AP-BCR2000 HD broadcasting router take into account all IP based HD broadcasting delivery network to implement broadcasting, multicasting, and broadcasting relay service more flexibly. Especially, AP-BCR2000 broadcasting router allows relay broadcasting to the several sites by receiving broadcasting data from AP-BCR2000 router in case of broadcasting relay service.
Multisession Broadcasting Router Solution
AddPac HD IP video broadcasting solution is composed of AP-VBS5000 HD video broadcasting server, AP-BCR2000 broadcasting router, and AP-VBT1000 HD broadcasting terminal. AP-VBS5000 HD video broadcasting server is embedded with single source dual codec encoding to accept the existing MPEG-4 based broadcasting terminal such as AP-VBT1000HD broadcasting terminal and video phones. AP-BCR2000 HD broadcasting router is designed to broadcast H.264 based HD broadcasting session, MPEG-4 based VGA broadcasting session concurrently.
Firmware Upgradeable
AP-BCR2000 HD broadcasting router high performance processors is all programmable structure so that constant feature improvement, feature modification, and feature addition are possible. User may use the latest technologies without much effort by setting auto upgrade option or download directly from the AddPac homepage.
Remote Management
The remote software upgrades of device status inspection and feature setup through telnet and ftp to secure the device security is possible. Also, it offers separate GUI based management system for several AP-BCR2000 broadcasting router environments in several sites.
