Basic Search



This is the most basic search.
Select a module and enter a search term to perform search.
The words that match the search term are displayed first in the phrase in bold type.

Search Range Settings



Set search range.
You can search a term from titles, contents, or names. Web page module, refer to the following:

1) Title ? Title of the Web page (title tag)
2) Contents ? Contents except for the title
3) Name ? File name on the Web page

At a bulletin board module, you can search a term from the title, contents, or name of a post.

1. Natural Language Search



If the search term is "What is your name?" and you perform natural language search, strings excluding adverbs or particles will be searched as well.


2. Negative Term Search



Strings that contain a negative term are not searched. Since the same engine is used for both negative terms and search terms, search for space operators, natural languages, and search formula is supported. If the search term is navyism and the negative term is butterfly, strings that contain navyism but does not contain butterfly are searched.

3. Space Operator Search



Connect search terms based on the space setting to perform search.
If the search term is navyism and the operator is or, strings that contain navyism or butterfly will be searched. If the operator is and, strings that contain both navyism and butterfly will be searched.

4. Boolean Search Using and, or, ()



Instead of the above space operator search, you can perform search by setting the search term to navyism or butterfly as shown in the above figure. In such a case, strings that contain navyism or butterfly will be searched. If you set the search term to navyism and butterfly, strings that contain navyism and butterfly will be searched.


You can perform search by creating a complex formula as above. If you set the search term to (navyism or butterfly) and navy, strings that contain navyism or butterfly and navy will be searched.



If you set Negative to moth or moths, strings that contain moth or moths will be excluded from the search results.

5. _ %



_ refers to a random character.
If you set the search term to navy_sm, strings that contain navyasm, navybsm, or navycsm, etc. will be searched. In such a case, _ is not searched.



% refers to a random string.
If you set the search term to navy%, all of the strings that start with navy will be searched.

6. Space



If you enclose a string consisting of two words in quotation marks (¡° ¡°) as shown in the above figure, the string will be treated as one term and be searched. If you search ¡°How are you?¡±, ¡®How¡¯, ¡®are¡¯, and ¡®you¡¯ will not be searched individually.
